Dear Friends of Children,<\/p>\n\n

We would like to inform you that on May 7, 2024, the Board of the Foundation decided to close the House for Children in Milanowek. <\/p>\n\n

It was a difficult decision for us for many different reasons. As you can guess, the most difficult for us was to accept the loss of the opportunity to help children in Milanowek. However, as the Board of the Foundation, we have to think about the totality of our organization and the opportunities we have. We are convinced and feel that we have done everything in our power to ensure that Milanowek survives. Our decision was based, among other things, on the need to choose between financing and expanding our houses in Kamionka and Warsaw, and running and coordinating a third house. <\/p>\n\n

Also as of September 1 of this year, we will admit an additional 20 wards to our two homes. For the children and their families from Milanowek, we have arranged further assistance in the municipality of Milanowek. If anyone is interested in more detailed information, please contact us, e-mail: fundacja@fundacjajoannyradziwill.pl. <\/p>\n\n

It was a difficult decision for us for many different reasons. As you can guess, the hardest thing for us was to come to terms with the loss of the possibility of helping children in Milanowek. However, as the Board of the Foundation, we have to think about the whole of our organization and the opportunities we have. We are convinced and feel that we have done everything we could to ensure that Milanowek survives.
