Letter from Kama Zboralska, art curator and children’s ambassador on the organization of the charity auction Helping is Art , which will be held thanks to the cooperation with the <\/em>DESA Unicum<\/strong> – the largest auction house in Poland. <\/em> <\/p>

The auction runs from <\/em>December 22, 2020 to January 7, 2021<\/strong> on the online platform at: www.bid.desa.pl\/auctions<\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

Ladies and Gentlemen ! <\/p>\n\n

Helping is also an art <\/strong>! under this slogan a charity auction will be held in Desa Unicum, the proceeds of which will be allocated to children. Their families are residents of Warsaw’s Praga, Groch\u00f3w, Targ\u00f3wek districts. <\/p>\n\n

The wards of the Joanna Radziwill Care Wings Foundation have found warmth and interest in the homes it runs for many years now. They can also eat a warm meal, which is not the daily norm for them. Especially during a pandemic, acting for children is important, powerful, supportive. Making children happy is our collective responsibility. All the more I appreciate the humane gesture of all those who supported this noble action. <\/p>\n\n

Many thanks to dozens of artists<\/strong>: Wilhelm Sasnal, Pawe\u0142 Althamer, Grzegorz Kowalski, Wiktor Gutt, Artur \u017bmijewski, Rafa\u0142 Olbinski, Bettina Bere\u015b, Andrzej Dudzinski, Ignacy Czwartos, Grzegorz Grzyb, Krzysztof Augustin, Oskar Dawicki, Marta Deskur, Janina Wierusz Kowalska, Katarzyna Kozyra …. it is impossible to list them all. They create in different techniques, styles, have different audiences, but what I know for sure – they are united by sensitivity to human injustice! Art ennobles, its possession spiritually enriches, and, by the way, in the future it can become a unique memento for loved ones. <\/p>\n\n

It’s hard to suggest what to buy so that it’s also a good investment, but I don’t think that’s the point this time. Besides, the very names of the artists guarantee the appropriate artistic level of the works offered. <\/p>\n\n

Now it depends only on you whether the involvement of 61 Artists and Donors ( Slawomir G\u00f3recki, mia Art. Gallery, Katarzyna Stanny and Monika Bednarek) in the joint auction will translate into concrete support for 54 children . Children in need of help, anxious, lonely…. <\/p>\n\n
