Mikolaj Roznerski vs. children – actor in unusual campaign

In recent years, we have increasingly seen well-known figures from the world of film get involved in social campaigns. They use their popularity to support initiatives for people who need help.

The campaign of the Joanna Radziwill Opiekuńcze Skrzydła Foundation to support nursing homes for children in difficult situations was created in cooperation with Mikołaj Roznerski – one of the most liked and recognizable Polish actors. The production was made possible by the involvement of producers, filmmakers and film companies: Bagatela Studio, Bosko, Editorium, Magic Sound, Postnovation. This is not another social marketing stunt based solely on compassion and empathy, but full of surprising humor and distance, a light-hearted story to inspire collective action.

Mikolaj Roznerski

Mikołaj Roznerski is a film and theater actor. Films and series with his roles such as “M jak Miłość”, “Porady na zdrady”, “Poskromienie złośnicy” have won the hearts of millions of cinema and television viewers, and have been on the list of the most watched titles on leading streaming platforms not only in Poland, but around the world. Proof of viewers’ appreciation for Mikołaj Roznerski are four Telekamery Awards – awards from readers of Tele Tydzień magazine for television achievements.

“We live in a modern world in which digital media and video forms are crucial to effectively reach potential donors. That’s why the Foundation is eager to use non-standard and creative ideas, carry out a lot of activities on the Internet and cooperate with recognized filmmakers.” – says Malgorzata Kostro-Olechowska, Director of Fundraising and Communications.

About the Campaign

The film features children, wards of the Foundation, who talk about Santa Claus only to discover that they don’t know him at all! Their imaginative stories, full of surprising humor, verging on nonsense opinions about the actor make the recipients of the action and viewers of the film smile.

One of the most important goals of the campaign is to encourage financial support for the Foundation’s activities. The video and social media posts redirect viewers to the zrzutka.pl platform, where fundraising for the Foundation is underway. Mikołaj Roznerski, through his involvement in the campaign, proves that a well-known person can do a lot of good for those who don’t even know him. You don’t have to be famous to help those who need it. However, such helping can make us close to them.

Children are masters of life and this spot shows it. With this campaign, we wanted to release as much positivity as possible. Because it is through hope and a positive attitude that we can really change the reality of children. Even the very difficult ones.” – says Joanna Radziwill, President of the Foundation.

About Joanna Radziwill Care Wings Foundation

The Caring Wings Foundation works on behalf of children and young people from socially vulnerable backgrounds, creating day homes for them. For kids who are struggling in their family homes, the Foundation is an oasis of peace, support and hope. Every day, when children enter through the foundation’s doors, they seek not only a safe space, but also warmth and understanding. In order for the homes to continue operating, help is needed. The ever-increasing cost of living is a challenge the foundation faces every day, but still wants to help further.

The campaign is being run on the profiles of Mikolaj Roznerski and the Caring Wings Foundation.

Together for children – the creators of the campaign

The film was conceived by Piotr Zygo and Bagatela Studio, known for its productions for the Netflix platform. The cinematography was done by Mateusz Mirocha and Bosko – a team of young filmmakers for whom it is very important to engage in projects that have a real impact on social change. Bosko likes to create films that educate, inspire and mobilize action to build a better society.

Post-production of the image was done by Lech Starzynski and Editorium.

Sound design and direction is the work of Tomasz Dukszty and Jan Chojnacki of Magic Sound.

All work on the project was coordinated by Bartosz Bednarz of Postnovation. The crew and filmmakers are:
