Working with emotions, self-awareness and creative development are topics close to our hearts and constantly present in the context of supporting children in our Homes. With the end of June ended a series of art therapy workshops entitled.“Art for Children,” aimed at the Warsaw House’s wards aged 7-12.

During 4 months of regular meetings, our charges had the opportunity to explore various art forms. Including such as painting, drawing, sculpture and art installations. They also talked about photography, created book covers or a set design for a film about space.
For many years, the Foundation has been trying to provide art therapy workshops for children. This is an extremely valuable form of therapy, based on artistic activities. The atmosphere of relaxation, rest and positive emotions fosters creativity, promotes the development and well-being of children.
We would like to thank the implementer of the workshop – the Ambassador of the Foundation, Małgorzata Rumian, who conducted her original art therapy program for us.
