Families from Ukraine under the caring wings / Families from Ukraine under the wing of our Foundation

Since the beginning of the war, our Foundation has been involved in helping Ukrainian families in Poland. Thanks to your support, we have been able to do a lot, and we plan to do even more!

  • From March, in our house at 19 Omulewska Street in Warsaw we run Saturday Cafes. Every week from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., entire Ukrainian families visit us, treat themselves to homemade cakes, waffles, colorful tea and aromatic coffee. In a separate room we display Ukrainian fairy tales and organize a play corner for the youngest, and when the weather is good we play in the garden. Those who visit us can count on help in matters concerning the organization of life in Poland (we help in the search for housing, formal matters, etc.). The entire Warsaw team of the foundation and the foundation’s volunteers are involved in these activities.
  • We provide Polish language lessons for people from Ukraine. We are currently holding classes for two groups of 15 people: Mondays and Fridays (10:30-11:30) and Tuesdays and Fridays (10:00-11:00). In a few days, the first students will graduate, and we will begin the next series of meetings.
  • Our foundation homes are a safe place not only for Polish children. Starting in May, the Ukrainian children will be provided with permanent daily care in homes in Warsaw, Milanowek and Kamionka. Therefore, we are recruiting for 4 new employees: a Polish-Ukrainian coordinator and 3 educators for each group.
  • We are increasing our housing capacity – we have completed the renovation of a house in Milanowek, and a house on Omulewska Street is currently undergoing a complete metamorphosis. Thanks to these measures, we will be able to help more children.

From this place we would like to thank our Donors, Friends and Volunteers <3 Without you, we could not have done so much, in such a short time.

Since the beginning of the war, our Foundation has been involved in helping Ukrainian families in Poland. Thanks to your support we managed to do a lot and we plan to do even more!

Since March, in our house at Omulewska Street 19 in Warsaw we have been hosting Saturday Cafes. Every week, from 10 am to 1 pm, Ukrainian families visit us, treating themselves to homemade cakes, waffles, tasty tea and aromatic coffee. In a separate room, we show Ukrainian fairy tales and have a play corner for children, and when the weather is good, we play in the garden. People who visit us can count on our help in organizing their life in Poland (we help with finding accommodation, dealing with paperwork etc.). The whole Warsaw team and many volunteers are involved in these activities.

We organize Polish language classes for people from Ukraine. Currently we offer classes for two groups of 15 people: On Mondays and Fridays (10.30-11.30) and Tuesdays and Fridays (10.00-11.00). In a few days, the first students will graduate, and we will begin another series of meetings.

Our foundation provide a safe haven not only for Polish children. Starting from May, children from Ukraine will be provided with permanent, everyday care in houses in Warsaw, Milanówek and Kamionka. Therefore, we are recruiting 4 new employees: a Polish-Ukrainian coordinator and 3 tutors for each group.

We are increasing our accommodation capacity – we have completed renovation of a house in Milanowek, and our house on Omulewska Street is currently undergoing a complete metamorphosis. Thanks to these actions we will be able to help more children.
