Today, February 23, is International Day against Depression, established by the World Health Organization as one of the most serious disease entities in the world.
At the Foundation
In our Foundation we also work with people who are affected by this disease – children, adolescents and their parents. We know how difficult this experience is and how important it is to provide specialized support from a psychotherapist and often pharmacology. It’s important to be aware that depression is not “just sadness” or “insufficiency of life”. It is a serious illness that requires professional help. Today we want to emphasize the importance of talking about depression and supporting people who suffer from it.
Therefore, at the Foundation House, thanks to your help, we can provide regular psychological support to the most needy children, young people and their parents. Together we can counteract depression and reduce its impact on people’s lives. Let’s not be afraid to speak out about it and seek help for ourselves or our loved ones. Mental health is as important as physical health!

What not to say to a person suffering from depression?
Many guides and graphics have been created that teach how to speak to a person suffering from depression and what not to say. Read them and share them further. We believe that by educating each other we can develop social sensitivity. Learn more: https://forumprzeciwdepresji.pl/gdzie-szukac-pomocy
