It is worthwhile to be interested in different things and anything is possible! That’s how we can sum up in one sentence the inspiring meeting of our wards with actor and traveler Jan Kardasinski, which took place last Friday at the foundation house on Omulewska Street.

About acting and traveling

Janek told us about his path to becoming an actor, which was not at all obvious, and as he himself admitted – at first he did not see himself as an actor and voice-over artist. However, the time and work put in showed that anything is possible! We also saw some behind-the-scenes footage and mishaps from the film set.

Mountain hiking

We viewed mountain peaks with our finger on the map, and discovered previously unknown landscapes from our travels in Africa and Iceland.

Improvisation

At the end of the meeting, Janek led an impromptu session with us, in which we created stories based on random situations. It was not only great fun, but also proof that there is potential for creativity in each of us.

The meeting was an inspiring experience for us and showed us that life does not have to be limited to one field and challenges are worth taking on, and that the most important thing is not to give up in the face of adversity.
