Today, February 24, marks the first anniversary of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. A war that has changed the whole world.
🔹 Over the past 12 months, we have witnessed an unimaginable tragedy unfolding in Ukraine. Many families have been forced to leave their homes and flee, often losing everything they had. Some of them have lost their loved ones…
🔹 The situation is equally difficult for children who are deprived of their homes, schools, and friends. Many of them have to adjust to a new life in unfamiliar cities, which is often very difficult and traumatic. Since February 24, 2022, the day of the beginning of Russia’s aggression, as many as 10 million refugees from Ukraine have crossed the Polish-Ukrainian border ❗
The anniversary is a good time to remind ourselves that help is still needed. The war is still ongoing. We thank everyone who supported our efforts to help Ukrainian families and children over the past year. There is still much to be done, but with your support, we can continue our mission to help Ukraine. Thank you! 💙💛
